I was lucky enough to visit Warfare show in Reading last weekend. A real pleasure to meet up with so many people, part with some money on the excellent 1st Corps British paras and see some very high quality demonstration games. Brian Collins from Plymouth had a WWII layout in 28mm including a large collection of Charlie Foxtrot Models.....just a taster here, a few more are in the customer gallery. 

Apart from Brian's superb layout, I was drawn to a 54mm huge pony wars demogame that looked just so good. "The Battle of Beecher's island 17th September 1868" was put on by "Skirmish Wargames" group who were very friendly and happy to chat about how a 10 foot long layout like this was made. I picked up so many tips..I just wonder if I can use any on my 28mm table.
